Brisbane Front Residency

Two evenings of dance and video will transform the Judith Wright Centre Shopfront space this December when Brisbane based dance screen practitioners put their minds together to capture the raw energy, charm & vibe of our city - Brisbane. A vibrant city with many diverse qualities… subtropical, cultural, populated, night life, suburban, river city, green, gritty and industrial.

The Ausdance Queensland Brisbane Front residency program provides Brisbane-based choreographers with the opportunity of a supported four week exploration into dance for non traditional performance spaces, culminating in a work-in development showing and facilitated forum.

Elise May’s Screen Dance Laboratory investigates installation, experimental film, screen choreography and digital projection.
